Three.js is a revolutionary open-source cross-platform JavaScript API and library that is used to create and display 3D computer graphics in a desktop web browser using WebGL, working at a high level to create GPU-accelerated animations without the need for plugins or external applications. The library comes packed with features not commonly associated with the web, including on-the-fly lighting effects, multiple camera angles, object geometry & material manipulation, and even VR/AR support through WebXR. In this session, we’ll cover the basics of the library and demonstrate how to code websites with 3D backgrounds, as well as show you how to bring 3D models onto the page for a whole new end-user experience you might not have thought possible before. Pandas can be tricky, and there is a lot of bad advice floating around. This talk will cut through some of the biggest issues I've seen with Pandas code after working with the library for a while and writing two books on it. Do you struggle writing Pandas code? Do you spend too much time trying to understand code that you have previously written? Would you like to write code that your colleagues can easily understand and use? Our speaker, Matt Harrison, has been using Python since 2000. He runs MetaSnake, which provides corporate training for Python and Data Science. He is the author of Machine Learning Pocket Reference, the bestselling Illustrated Guide to Python 3, and Pandas Cookbook 1.x, among other books. PUBLICATION PERMISSIONS:
