In the past five years, the EPM world has changed dramatically. The introduction of Oracle's Cloud Services has forced all organizations to rethink their EPM usage and strategy. As cloud adoption continues to grow, data integration has become a critical success factor in a cloud evolution. In this session, we will focus on two primary areas to better position your organization for success in its cloud journey. First, we will highlight the most commonly deployed of the myriad of tools available including FDMEE, Cloud Data Management (including Integrations), EPM Automate, and the REST APIs. We will also discuss third-party tools and how they may (or may not) fit into an overall integration strategy. Armed with a greater understanding of the tools and their strengths and weaknesses, we will then discuss the foundational elements that are the building blocks to efficient and scalable integration. We'll explore how these components interrelate to one another so that you can avoid the common pitfalls that often occur without this in-depth understanding. After attending this session, you will be empowered by not only understanding which tools are available but also how to leverage them effectively to address your data integration needs for both on-premises and cloud EPM applications. This webinar showcases how Opus Group® leveraged Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) to create a custom project-driven financial planning solution that is used for short and long-term capital, revenue, margin, and expense planning. This PBCS application incorporates key concepts required for financial planning from the real estate and construction industry, such as project capital structure and equity, capital roll-forwards, rolling forecasts, and revenue recognition by different capital structures. The session includes a live demo to illustrate how the planning model integrates a project-level proforma to short and long-term capital and P&L planning tools to generate a variety of financial reports. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlYJheRkucU

The new Oracle EPBCS Workforce business process has a complex framework which allows for planning at both the employee and job level. Through a live demo, the session will demonstrate how this framework can be configured in three scenarios—configuring what comes out of the box "as-is", post configuration and customization using the custom expense property, and finally and more importantly a methodology to scale the workforce framework by adding another custom dimension (please note that the assumptions plan type doesn't allow the adding of dimensions). Learning Objectives: Learn what is happening between the three plan types being spawned when Workforce business process and all its features are enabled. Learn what happens with only job or employee-based planning enablement. Learn the value proposition of the features. See and learn from salaries, taxes, and benefits cases. Webinar sponsored by ODTUG on 5/2/19 and hosted by Vatsal Gaonkar, Product Manager at Alithya. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jv_7Mze_Dqg
