Visions for the Future of Computing

The processing power of computers has increased rapidly through Moore’s Law during the last decades but at the same time computing has become the fastest-growing user of energy. In her keynote, Alexandra Wright-Gladstein will discuss the current state of computing and how Ayar Labs is going to use light for I/O to cut the amount of energy used in computing in half and speed up computing dramatically.
