Johan takes a hands-on live coding approach that explains some of the benefits of quantum computing. He creates small, simple Java applications that you can easily run at home too, on an open-source quantum simulator. Learn how to take advantage of one of the biggest revolutions ever in the history of computing. This video is an excerpt from a live coding session "Quantum Computing: How relevant is it to enterprise developers?" by Johan Vos. Rather than a hardware manual or academic theory guide, this book is focused on practical implementations of quantum computing algorithms. Using Strange, a Java-based quantum computer simulator, you’ll go hands-on with quantum computing’s core components including qubits and quantum gates as you write your very first quantum code. By the end of the book you’ll be ahead of the game with the skills to create quantum algorithms using standard Java and your favorite IDE and build tools. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ImxE3fWBtQk

Jurassic Park was a lie. We can't resurrect the dinosaurs because their DNA is too decayed. DNA can only survive 6.8 million years, and the dinosaurs lived 65 million years ago. Bummer! Subscribe to my free monthly newsletter for more interesting facts: newsletter.simplyexplained.com 🌍 Social

Leonardo Da Vinci designed an aerial screw that looked like a helicopter in the 1480s. That's over 400 years before the first helicopter and even before the first engine! Engineer students replicated his design and found it actually produces lift. It's even more efficient as it produces less downwash. Da Vinci was never able to build or test his design. And yet, it works! He was centuries ahead of his time. 💌 My newsletter
